Left newspapers after 33 years to go into bottled water. 12.18

Mom still lives in Hillhurst so I am back every 6 weeks or so.

Here is James Swanton age 5, yes fireworks are legal in Louisiana on Christmas and July 4th.

Marti Gras starts 12 days after Christmas. We can catch 4-5 Parades in town by the end of the season. We end up with a couple of Wegmans bags of these every year.

Crawfish season starts in March and ends in June. We get about 10 lbs and eat about half between us and shuck the rest and freeze for cooking in the off season.
