School Story:
Apparently, I had a bunch of parties at my house back in those high school days from reading some of my dear friends comments. One in particular is close to my heart.
I call it the "GREAT CORN NUT PARTY of 1979". Yes, I'm sure many of you may remember it. I think 200 or so people may have came. Anyhow, as I recall I was attending to some over indulging partiers when one of our dear classmates discovered my mom was a distributor of Corn Nuts. The 10 cases which were stored in my garage quickly proceeded to the home and were thrown all over, and I mean ALL OVER. When I finally got wind of what was going on, all 10 cases, probably close to a 100,000 cornuts were spread out all over the house. Our floors looked like Beef Steak Mining Company. After my "close friends" helped clean them up, we were able to get the house put back together in time before my mother got home. However, we continued to find corn nuts in the house for years to come. Everytime we moved furniture, there was a corn nut. Pulled up the old carpeting, 20 corn nuts. My brother eventually bought the house from my mom and 20 years later, when he moved away, we were still finding those freaking corn nuts!!!
Good times.
