Where to begin....

Well I have 3 wonderful children! Casey, my oldest son, has recently moved in with me and has returned to college. I've never seen him so entheusiastic about school EVER! This was my "difficult" child and school was always a battle. I'm happy to say that Casey is on a sure road to success! He's currently at MCC taking computer info systems and kicking butt. His future plans are to stay an additional year at MCC to obtain an associates in Business as well before going on for his Bachelors degree in Web Design. Casey and his friend Mike have had a web design business on the side for several years. Check out Austin-Spencer Collison, Higbie Farms or his web site mysnakebytes.com. Casey is a pleasure to have living with me, I thought I'd never hear myself say that !!!
Keriann is "the middle child" and full of energy! Keriann graduated #6 of 301 students from Spencerport Highschool. She received many academic scholarships and decided on Syracuse University, where she is a senior majoring in Physics. Keriann also joined the ROTC Airforce her freshman year and after the first semester received a full scholarship to Syracuse while maintaining some of her academic monies. This has been a blessing for mom and dad! This little girl, my size, is a spit fire of energy who lets nothing stand in her way! Keriann is currently the wing commander of her Syracuse AF detachment, which means she over sees all the recruits, freshmans to seniors. Keriann, who actually goes by her middle name "Austin" will be graduating this May with a BA in Physics and a minor in Math. The day before SU graduation she will commission as an Officer in the Air Force. She's also a member of the Arnold Air Society, which has awarded her several trips around the country over the past 4 years, SHE tells me it's good networking! Keriann will be stationed at the Patrick Air Force base in Cocoa Beach Fla. What a life she has made for herself!
My youngest son Shannon is soon to be 17. He's a Jr. at Spencerport High School and a pleasure to have around. I'd have to say he's my easiest kid because he's just easy to be with MOST of the time. I think Shannon is still trying to decide what he wants to do so his story is yet to be told. I do however have a pretty good feeling that he will be as successful as his siblings. Shannon's love right now is his guitar. He's self taught and his playing just amazes me. Even more than his ability to play is his courage to get up and sing, not just for adults but for his peers as well, and he has a great voice in the making!
As for me, well I'm still working at Kodak...I guess you could call me a survivor, though I don't want to say that too loud! I've been at Kodak, well 30 years this March. I went to college a 2nd time around and received an associates in Mechanical Design from RIT. For the past 25 years I've managed a family and a career as a computer aided designer. I can honestly say I have been blessed with a beautiful family that I am very proud of : )
Looking forward to seeing some old faces in the very near future! There's a ton of old memories, the house on St. Paul. I think Marsha Nelsen told me that she made it her goal to try to sleep at least once in every bedroom of the house! Course I didn't realize this was a goal of hers until many years later. We had the basement beer pong games, quarters and OMG we had some great times! See you all soon...
